Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved going to Rome. At the same time, I was definitely homesick for Madrid! There's just something about coming home after a vacation to clean laundry (thank you Blanca) and a neat and tidy room. I just love it. Yesterday was a great day back in Madrid; it feels so good to be home.

Started off my morning in the park- first a run with Jesus then a bike ride with Alex. I love to make her snap these ridiculous pictures of me all the time.

Yesterday was a holiday (one of the 17 million that Madrid has celebrated since I've been here) for the Virgin of Madrd. We made it just in time to the plaza of the Palace to see the procession into the church before the mass started.

Then we went out at night for our friend Nick's 21st birthday! Picture of the girls...

And picture of the boys!

And as I write this blog, I’m downloading Glee- the best! Lazy morning. One class this afternoon with Francisco, one of my favorites. Then I have teaching tonight; I think we’re going to go pretend shopping and work on our dictionaries while listening to a little Justin Beiber and High School Musical (obviously some of my favorite pastimes… for real). Such a shame that I only have six more weeks- can you believe it?! Time flies!
I just feel as though everything is going so well at the moment, everything is just as it should be. So pleased with my life! Happy, happy Wednesday!
