Good Morning!

Today is a beautiful day here in Madrid! Cool and sunny! Yesterday we had rain rain rain and the day  before we had our first SNOW! Can you believe it?! So I thoroughly am enjoying the weather today!

I walked to the Museum of Archaeology this morning (we had to make an individual trip for my art history class) to take some notes on some of the objects there. It still amazes me that the things that I'm studying in class are just minutes and hours away from where I'm living. I'm so lucky that I can so easily see in person what I'm learning about in my classes.

On the way home I picked up some of my favorite candy and am currently eating a deeeeelicious orange before starting my paper about the museum. Oh! The funniest thing happened in the grocery store. The one I always go to is right next to my apartment here and for whatever reason, it's always filled with old, grumpy Spanish people. So today, one man was wanting to just buy a loaf of bread but there were three or four people ahead of him in line, one who was buying a ton of stuff. The man with the bread tried to cut in front of him and just pay real quick, but of course the clerk told him that he couldn't do that. The man got SO MAD and threw the bread on the ground and stormed out. I was between two sweet old ladies who immediately started chattering in Spanish about how rude people are and what a problem this was. It was so funny... great story, I know. It's the little things ;)

On Sunday some of us went to see a musical that one of my professors organized a group for. I decided to go because it was something totally different than everything else I've done since I've been in Madrid. I ended up LOVING it- it was so funny and really well done. It was called Glorious- The Worst Singer in the World. If you haven't hear of it, you should check it out. So much fun. Plus it was in Spanish and I understood ALL of it. Are you so proud of me?!

I still have yet to write about my weekend trip in Granada- I'll have to do that soon because I'm taking another trip next week... Me and five other girls are venturing to Amsterdam on Monday then to Dublin on Wednesday! We'll be back next Friday and after that, only ONE MORE WEEK in Spain! CRAZY TALK, right?!
